Established by health psychologist Amir Oren, the practice relies on a network of professionals/experts in complementary therapy areas including: psychology, physiotherapy, art therapy, dietetics, occupational and speech therapy, to provide targeted, goal oriented therapy, guidance and support, to help you feel in control again and able to enjoy life in full.

Amir Oren

Chartered Psychologist and Hypnotherapist

Amir is a Chartered Health Psychologist working with both children and adults. He completed his education and training in Israel where he gained extensive experience working with people coping with different psychological symptoms and medical conditions.

Amir has worked extensively with people with problems such as depression and anxiety (e.g. stress, OCD, specific phobias, health worries, sleep problems, skin picking and trichotillomania). He also has experience in working with children with ADHD and providing consultations to parents on different parenting issues (e.g. behavioural problems in school or at home). He has special interest and knowledge in applying Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and integrates Mindfulness-based CBT, Biofeedback training and Hypnosis into the therapeutic process.

Amir provides goal driven, brief and longer term therapies, on an individual, group, couple and family basis.

Amir is a Chartered Health Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Orit Brenholtz-Oren (M.Sw)

Psychotherapist

Orit is a Clinical Social Worker and a registered psychotherapist (BACP accredited).
Orit specialises in working with individuals (children, adolescents and adults). Over the years she gained vast experience helping people cope with different life difficulties: bereavement, traumatic experiences, domestic crisis, physical disabilities and emotional challenges and more. She is also experienced in treating anxiety disorders including specific anxiety (phobias), panic disorders, social anxiety, separation anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and generalized anxiety.

Orit is trained in various therapeutic approaches, mainly using cognitive behavioural and psycho-dynamic theories which she tailors to each person’s needs.

Over the last 15 years Orit worked in different professional settings and organizations in Israel. Among those, she worked in an Emunah adolescent emergency shelter for teenage girls and in an anxiety and psychosomatic unit at Geha Mental Health Centre in Israel.

She strongly believes that the non-judgmental environment allows therapeutic interpersonal processes to occur.
