Raeli is one of our experienced therapists here at Bridges Therapy Centre, offering Cognitive Behavioural Therapies to children, adolescents, and adults with a range of complex issues and life problems. The therapy he provides is collaborative, with sensitivity always paid to the values and belief systems of patients.
As a qualified social worker, Raeli has extensive experience of working in an array of caring professions, as a therapist, case social worker and clinical social worker. Within these fields, he has helped people – specifically children and adolescents – to overcome a range of difficulties including bereavement, traumatic experiences, emotional challenges, and generalised anxiety, to name but a few.
Raeli studied at the University of Oxford, receiving an MSc in Applied Social Studies and Diploma in Social Work. Additionally, he received his DPhil (PhD) in Evidence Based Social Intervention, specialising in Social Work and Child and Adolescent Mental Health, also from the University of Oxford. He has also written a number of scholarly articles and papers, centred around mental health.
He is registered with the Israeli Social Workers Registry as a clinical social worker.
After spending time working as a psychotherapist in both Israel and London, Raeli has experience in helping children and teenagers suffering from an array of issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, OCD, generalised anxiety, phobias, trauma, and more. Using an an evidence-based approach, he employs a range of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques such as CBT and ACT to help patients to achieve their intended goals.
Raeli is able to incorporate Hebrew into his therapy sessions, due to his experience living and working in Israel. He is passionate about providing a collaborative approach to therapy, always taking into account the needs, belief systems and values of his patients.
