Cheryl Aalit is our Transformative Coach here at Bridges Therapy Centre, working with individuals to help them to understand themselves better, make changes, and achieve their desired goals. Within her non-judgemental coaching space, she supports adults with ADHD to come to terms with their diagnosis, find ways to manage their symptoms, harness their strengths, and develop authenticity and acceptance.
Additionally, her Transformative Coaching digs a little deeper, helping individuals to understand what has been holding them back, and to change the way they see themselves and the world around them. This is done by creating psychological changes which lead to fundamental shifts in perspective, and therefore enabling ongoing growth and change.
Cheryl is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and British Psychological Society (BPS).
She has a BSc in Psychology, a Diploma in Transformative Coaching, additional training in Supporting Clients with ADHD, and is a certified Mindfulness teacher.
Cheryl has worked in the well-being industry for many years, and has a keen interest in mental health and extensive knowledge of psychological principles and theories. Cheryl has spent many years looking within herself at her patterns of thought and behaviours.
Because of her own life experiences and interests in neurodiversity, ADHD, psychology, spirituality, health and wellbeing, Cheryl has a deep understanding and passion to empower people to be who they want to be, and live the life they want to live. Her training in Transformative Coaching has further deepened her understanding of human behaviour and change, supporting her ability to help people achieve their health and wellness goals. With her particular specialism in coaching adults with ADHD, Cheryl is dedicated to helping individuals with neurodiversity to embrace their strengths.
